God's Promise For Restoration
Brief review word shared by Elder (Humility as a vessel to achieve peace). Transformation series.
Introduction
In Ezekiel 37, God paints a vivid picture of Israel's spiritual and physical state. Despite their
hopelessness, God promises restoration. Let's explore this vision and discover how it
applies to our lives today.
• Hopelessness
• Dead lifeless, Dry, withered bones
• Lost/ scattered Jews people/Disconnected from God
• Broken up
The Lord had said to Abram, go from your country, your people, and your father’s
household to the land I will show you.
“I will make you into a great nation,
and I will bless you;
I will make your name great,
and you will be a blessing.
This doesn’t make Israel more special; But about God's faithfulness and love for his
chosen people.
When you think of the nation of Israel, it is a reminder that when God says
something he will do it.
This man Abraham was the son of the pagan priest (Terah) Through Him we are all
blessed
Joshua 2:8 - The Testimony of Rahab
“I know that the Lord has given this land to you.”
This once a great nation and feared nation is in the condition of:
What is restoration?
What lessons can churches today draw from the prophetic visions in Ezekiel
37?
• When the Lord’s hand is upon us we see opportunities, not conditions .
(You see opportunities not conditions. You see possibilities no matter
the state) around (vs:1)
• When we face difficult times, let us use God's Word to speak to those
conditions Verse 4
• When we come together life and hope joins.
(family, church, Mariage, Government, ministers, relationship).
• Breath and life are essential; without them, we are like corpses. Vs 8.
(This makes me remember Eva my beloved wife in ICU) She could not
breath on her own yet she had the body.
• When we come together there are high chances of getting life. (breath
of life)
Then the Lord God formed a man c from the dust of the ground and
breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a
living being.
Genesis 2:7
• God's Word has the power to restore and revive (v. 10-14).
How does the prophecy of the dry bones demonstrate the power of God's
Word and how we apply it?
• Ask God’s hand to be upon us not against us.
• Speak life to dry bones to hear the word of God
• Trust God to re establish us.
