Job Description

Position: Assistant Outreach, Engagement, and Partnerships Manager


Div/Sch/Off: Division of Outreach, Engagement, and Partnerships
Reporting to: Outreach, Engagement, and Partnerships Manager
Compensation: Up to 2,500,000 MMK
Type: Full-time with an extendable three-year or five-year contract
About TEGL
Established in 2015 with a mission to provide high-quality personal development courses, Taxila
Institute (Taxila) has become a trusted partner of nearly 160 public universities and several
departments of basic education (at the state level) and has provided quality education to more than
16,000 university students, 7,500 faculty members, and 1,800 teachers. With financial support from
the U.S. Government, Taxila has administered several educational reform projects in collaboration
with the Myanmar Ministry of Education (MOE) and public universities across Myanmar. In
addition, Taxila has also managed a diverse portfolio of student competitions, teachers’ development
programs, and research activities. Taxila Institute has been transitioned into the University of Taxila
to provide American-accredited degree programs in Myanmar. In partnerships with several public
universities from the U.S., the University of Taxila will soon provide face-to-face, online, and hybrid
instructions for nearly 80 degrees accredited by relevant accreditation councils such as HLC,
AACSB, ABET, and CAEP.

Job Description
The Assistant Outreach, Engagement, and Partnerships Manager leads efforts to grow and sustain
TEGL’s reach in scale and impact across all programs, from diplomas to degrees. The Assistant
Manager will set and meet annual enrollment and revenue targets through a combination of
partnerships with private schools and international schools. The position requires strong strategy-
setting, team management, and robust experience securing and growing school-based partnerships.
Responsibilities
• Explores opportunities to bring new potential partners and key actors on board
• Creates and raises awareness of the services offered to identify potential partners
• Develops partnership frameworks, proposals, and procedures for TEGL
• Integrates institutional sales and marketing channels with the partnership process
• Assists the Senior Institutional Partnership Officer in implementing the partnership
development process
• Improves partnership functionality and flexibility to align with TEGL’s core business
objectives
• Maintains a positive relationship with existing or new partners in achieving institutional
targets
• Plans and manages partnership meetings and contributes to partnership success
• Interacts with partners, answers questions, and resolves issues
• Puts in place and oversees systems that monitor institutional partnership relations
• Collects lessons learned to strengthen and improve the partnership development process

• Offers dedicated support to internal and external stakeholders of TEGL
• Manages MOUs as they arise from partnerships
• Trains partnership assistants, associates, and interns
• Participates in promotional videos and photos as related
• Performs related duties as required

Minimum Requirements
• A bachelor’s degree in any field. A master’s degree is a plus
• Five or more years of B2B sales, marketing, and channel partnership experience
• A copy of degree diplomas, transcripts (if any), and other educational documents
• A cover letter and a resume/CV
• Contact information of three professional references (phone numbers and emails) as all
applicants are subject to a background check
Work Schedule
• 8:30 am to 5:00 pm on Monday through Friday
• May have some work on weekends with urgent proposals
Work Conditions
• No to light physical effort, which may require rare lifting up to 20 pounds and/or some
standing or walking
• No or very limited exposure to physical risk
• Work is generally performed in a typical interior office work environment
