TIME ALLOWED: THREE HOURS PART-I (MCQS) MAXIMUM MARKS = 20
PART-I(MCQS): MAXIMUM 30 MINUTES PART-II MAXIMUM MARKS = 80
NOTE:
i. Part-II is to be attempted on the separate Answer Book.
ii. Attempt ONLY FOUR questions from PART-II. ALL questions carry EQUAL marks.
iii. All the parts (if any) of each Question must be attempted at one place instead of at different places.
iv. Write Q. No. in the Answer Book in accordance with Q. No. in the Q. Paper.
v. No Page/Space be left blank between the answers. All the blank pages of Answer Book must be
crossed.
vi. Extra attempt of any question or any part of the question will not be considered.

SUBJECTIVE PART ― PART-II


Q. 2. Critically evaluate the devastation of floods and recommend policies for disaster
preparedness.

Q. 3. War in Ukraine may continue for years that would determine resurgence of Russia or
the revival of NATO. Comment.

Q. 4. There is alarming revival of TTP in merged districts and parts of Malakand Division.
Critically evaluate the reasons and give policy options to overcome the expansion of
terrorism in Pakistan once again.

Q. 5. On one hand US - Russia military conflict in Ukraine is intensifying on the other US -


China conflict regarding Taiwan has recurred. Critically evaluate the policy options
with Washington DC.

Q. 6. ISKP, IMU, ETIM and over the security situation in Afghanistan has become a major
challenge for SCO. Recommend policy options for the organization and its members to
improve the security situation in the region.

Q. 7. The future of CPEC is directly related to the security situation in Pakistan and
Afghanistan. Recommend policy options for Islamabad and Beijing to materialize the
much awaited project.

Q. 8. Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and United States of America tension is visibly increasing.
Critically evaluate the reasons and its fallouts.
