Jaranan Buto dance is a traditional dance
originating and developing in the
Banyuwangi and Blitar areas. Buto jaranan
dance is performed at the ceremony of the
bridal procession and circumcision. In its
performance, this dance uses the property
of an artificial horse, as we usually find in
HAND (LEFT)
GLUE TO THE CHEST does not resemble the shape of a horse in
real terms, instead the horse has a giant
face or Buto as well as the players who
also use make-up like a giant complete
with a red face with big eyes, sharp fangs,
long hair. and dreadlocks.
