Request to grant me leave for the days I was absent.

Sir/Madam,

I am a student of your department. I wasn’t able to attend classes from mid of October to November
due to lower back pain radiating to both of my legs, two months back I had a back injury because of
weight lifting as I was doing it without professional guidance. Doctors prescribed me a 2 to 3 weeks
bed rest for the recovery of muscles. I’m in 5th semester and have enrolled 6 subjects out of which I
have low attendance in two of my subjects which are International Law and Comparative Politics. I
have given the mid term papers and already did my tasks on daily basis and studied regularly to cope
up with everything in my course. I have attached my medical prescription below. When I was on
leave I thought my attendance would remain above 75% but at the end of semester I opened my sap
and It was below than 75%. Kindly mark my leave so that I can appear in my final examination. I have
always been a punctual student and I totally assure you that I remain punctual in my next semesters.
Please accept my leave for this time. I promise I will maintain my attendance from now on.

I will be very thankful to you for this act of kindness.
