NATURAL STONES

- an organic rock came from Sta.Fe, Nueva Vizacaya and used as column and wall claddings
-it is considered as an organic architecture
CAPIZ SHELL PANELS
- having a smooth translucent shiny texture that were used in windows, columns and lighting fixtures
- it is classified as vernacular architecture
ALUMINUM FRAMES/SCREENS
- it is classified as modern architecture which was used in windows.
GLASS
- was also used in windows to give natural lighting around the house
*Glass blocks-
-classified as modern architecture
*Windows-are made of aluminum frame and capiz pane making it a modern vernacular *Columns -
they used natural stone cladding as well as luminous column(using capiz panels and light fixture
installed inside)
*Walls- natural stone cladding were also used both outside and inside the house allowing an indirect
absorption of heat
BAMBOO
-can be considered as organic, tropical and vernacular architecture which was used as ledges enabling
the house to look like floating.
* Runo bamboo- was used as ceiling on the lanai creating a great atmosphere and helps keep the
space cool
*Sawali- also known as “amakan”- a type of traditional woven split-bamboo mats that was used as
one of the bedroom’s ceiling.
SOLID WOOD
-current and reclaimed woods were used as trusses, columns, beams and furnitures.
*Wood Planks- used in ceiling creating a warm, comfortable look and help enhance the interior's
visual appeal.
