THE SELFISH BAT AND THE BEAST STORY

Once upon a time there was a fighting between the birds and animals. All birds fought

with their might against the animals and the animals gave fierce battle. The bats were

indecisive. They thought “We can join with the birds because we can fly. We can also join

with the animals because we don’t lay eggs. Anyway, we will wait and join with the

winners”.

At one stage the birds were having a winning hand. The bats thought, “This is the

time, we’ll join with the birds”. But lo! The times changed. The hands of the animals began

to be more powerful. The bats shifted support to animals.

After a long time the battle ended and the birds and animals came to compromise.

But, both now neglected the bats. Bats began to live in holes. They came out only during

dusk because that was the time when birds and animals would have returned home and the

night animals and birds would not have left their homes.
 BULLYING IN THE SCHOOL

Good morning for all of us in this place. Honourable our headmaster, Suster Angelica,

honourable all of our teacher in here. Never forget we say thanks to our Almighty God who

give us healthy so that we can come into our school. I’m Felicia from grade four want to

deliver my speech. My speech title is “bullying in our school”.

Ladies and gentlemen, bullying may seem like a small problem for some people. Most

people may not realize that the damage caused by bullying can be so serious. It can be as

serious as “death” in extreme cases. If you think that bullying is not a serious matter to deal

with just because it merely hurt “feelings” then I have to tell you that you are completely

wrong. This “merely hurt your feelings” thing can be the beginning of various worse

scenarios such as physical assault, suicide, or any other kinds of violent acts carried out in the

name of revenge.

As I said just now that bullying is not a serious problem for some people, just because

we simply don’t see the damage. During this time, the effect of bullying keeps corrupting the

soul of the victim. They may hold it inside as a grudge, or they may also develop trauma

which may result in self-withdrawal. I believe that this is something that we don’t want to

happen to another people again. That’s why we have to act right now to stop it and I mean all

of us with no exception.

That’s all about my speech, so for now stop to do bullying with each other us. If I

have do mistake, I say sorry and for your good attention I say thank you.
 GOING TO SCHOOL

Rooster crowing in the morning

The sun is waking up to greet warming

I go to school
With a bag on my back, I pull
Soon I take my shoes
Not forget to say goodbye to my parents

I move my foot quickly

I do not want to be late, for sure
I learned at school diligently
So, I become successful in the future.
