Dear Parent/Guardian:

The BSHS Supreme Student Government (BSHS-SSG) of De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde is the
highest democratic representative of Benilde Senior High School. It is a recognized student organization
under the Student Services Unit that exemplifies the Lasallian values of Faith, Zeal for Service, and
Communion in Mission and the Benildean Core Values, which aims to embody the highest expression of
the will and development of students.

In line with this, we would like to ask your permission to allow your son/daughter to participate in the
activity entitled Academic Tournament 2024: Embodying the Benildean Spirit Through Fostering
Intellectual Excellence, for he/she is part of the participants/audience in the said activity. The tournament
shall comprise of competitions including Hunger Hues (poster making), Mockingjay’s Quill (essay writing),
Rebels VS Capitol (debate), and QuizWiz (quiz bee) which shall be open to both Grade 11 and Grade 12.

To ensure the safety of the students, drop off and pick up points of all participants will be at Taft Campus,
DLS-CSB only. The organizers will not entertain any request for an alternative pick up and drop off points.
Please take note that this is an official school activity therefore, all provisions in the current Student
Handbook apply.
