1). All materials used for Firefighting /Fire protection /Fire suppression systems should be
approved by relevant local authority/CD.
2). The manufacturer indicated above doesn’t override the requirement of the Specification or
relieve the Contractor of their responsibility for conforming the Specification, should any of
the above listed manufacturer doesn’t confirm with specification or requirements they shall
not be used unless approved by Consultant/Engineer or Client Representative.
3). Where manufacturers are not listed for any specific item’s tenderers are requested offer full
equipment/materials fully meeting the Specification and country of origin requirements and
keeping with the nature of installation and typical products being considered for other similar
items.
4). Where ever possible one manufacturer shall be used for all the elements of Specific
installation areas to enhance the compatibility and improve familiarity within future
maintenance procedures and minimize spare provisions required at site.
5). Contractor shall ensure all the manufacturers used are represented locally within KSA ,
suitably rated to meet local conditions and requirements and the products are available to
achieve product deliverables. Similar to the above Contractor shall ensure that all the Material
and equipment used is approved by local authorities and Consultant (Engineer) prior to
approval with particular concerns to local authority.
