Elon Musk's Acquisition of Twitter

In my view, Elon Musk's acquisition of Twitter was a risky and divisive move that fundamentally
altered the social media scene. Following the acquisition, a few business choices that have been made
are:
 Dismissing a number of senior executives, including the outgoing CEO Parag Agrawal, and
installing his own picks in their place. Musk may have had more influence over the business as a
result of this choice, but it also made the remaining staff members and users uneasy and
resentful.
 Assembling a diverse committee for content moderation to supervise the platform's rules.
Musk's dedication to openness and free speech may have been reflected in this move, but it also
sparked worries about the possibility of hate speech, harassment, and false information on the
platform.
 Renaming Twitter as X and adding new functionality like gamification, voice and video chat, and
digital currencies integration. This choice may have shown Musk’s creativity and vision for the
network, but it also made some devoted and long-time users unhappy who valued the ease of
use and familiarity with the previous Twitter.
In general, I believe that the company’s workflow and reputation have been impacted by Musk’s
acquisition of Twitter in both favorable and negative ways. On the one hand, it has increased the
platform’s visibility, funding, and experimentation, which has increased its diversity and dynamic nature.
However, it has also increased division, disagreement, and instability on the platform, making it more
disorderly and polarizing.
