A RESOLUTION ON THE OFFICIAL LIST OF VOTING MEMBERS OF SCHOOL

GOVERNANCE COUNCIL

WHEREAS, the school governance council plays a crucial role in developing and
implementing school improvement plans.

WHEREAS, the school governance council serves as an advisory body to the school
administration, ensuring the voices of various stakeholders are heard.

RESOLVED AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED THAT:

1. The school head shall serve as an ex-officio member of the school governance council
and have voting rights.
2. The barangay chairman and the Faculty President shall serve as an ex-officio member of
school governance council and have voting rights.
3. The two (2) teachers elected by the faculty shall serve as voting members and two (2)
teachers appointed by the body shall serve as non-voting members.
4. The two (2) community representatives appointed by the council shall serve as voting
members and two (2) community representatives shall serve as non-voting members.
5. The SSLG President, student representative, elected by the student body shall serve as a
voting member and the SSLG adviser shall serve as voting member.

RESOLVED FURTHER THAT the school governance council shall strive to ensure diversity
and representation from various backgrounds in the selection of members to ensure a
wellrounded perspective in decision-making.

RESOLVED FURTHER THAT the term of office for each member shall be two years, with
the option of re-election or re-appointment for subsequent terms.

RESOLVED FURTHER THAT the school governance council shall meet regularly to discuss
school matters, develop improvement plans, and provide recommendations to the school
administration.

RESOLVED FURTHER THAT amendments to the official list of voting members shall be
made in accordance with the bylaws of the school governance council, with any changes
requiring a majority vote from the existing member.

RESOLVED FURTHER THAT this resolution shall take effect immediately upon adoption.

WE HEREBY CERTIFY TO THE CORRECTNESS OF THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION.
