Before exam

Teacher will decide the schedule of examination based on the availability of the teacher and students within a

During exam
The teacher has full discretion to pick the thesis statement for a student. The student will read first the thesis
statement, and then explain it in 4 minutes. There will be a 3-min Q&A which may include but not limited to
clarifying thesis statement explanation, relating the selected thesis statement with other given thesis
statements, and reflecting the concepts and skills that the student learned about the subject. Students will be
graded based on content (detail and relevance of explanation, strength of stated examples, evidences, and
arguments), delivery and clarity, and ability to answer questions. Having cheat sheets, notes, index cards,
hand-outs, and the like are not allowed.

After the exam

The teacher will give the grade of the student for oral examination. The grade will be from 1.0, 1.5, 2.0, 2.5,
