Demo Scripts – Oracle CRM Service

Use Cases: Monitor the customer’s Oracle platform, which gathers, links, and analyzes all
collected customer data, including contact information, interactions with company
representatives, purchases, service requests, assets, and quotes/proposals.

From nGeniusOne Splash screen, click on Service Dashboard icon. Open under Enterprise Applications.

Change primary metric to % Slow RT y hitting the icon.


Drill down on the Oracle Database Servers tile, going to Datebase Monitor. Sort of failures. KPI error
code shows “No Data Returned” message.
In drilling into sessions by clicking , the sessions overview shows server errors with client and
identity. In looking at session trace, we can see the user with the identity “Jack” fails with accessing the
database. He needs to recheck his credentials.

From nGeniusOne Splash screen, click on Service Dashboard icon. Open Oracle CRM under Enterprise

Applications. Change primary metric to % Slow RT by hitting the icon. Drill down to Database
Monitor
From the Database Service Monitor, sort on Latency. We can see that Oracle Server 2 has a high number
of slow and degraded responses.
Turn on Client Communities by going to the Locations Key icon.

In looking at this use case and seeing that Client (AppSrv1) is talking to Ora-11g2-2 with heavy latency
but works well with server Ora-11g2-1. The problem points to the server (Ora-11g2-2) as having an
issue.

From nGeniusOne Splash screen, click on Service Dashboard icon. Open Oracle CRM under Enterprise

Applications. Change primary metric to % Slow RT by hitting the icon. Drill down to Oracle CRM
Web Service Monitor
Sort on Failures, we can see that the worst performing are the London Users. The Web Server
OracleAppSrv5 has critical 507 web errors.

By clicking on the icon, we can see more details regarding the errors.
