TITANIUM ALLOY SURFACE TREATMENT — REPAIRS

1. Titanium Alloy — Surface Treatment
A. General
Surface treatment is not usually required after rework on titanium alloys.
B. Procedure
(1) Apply original finish. See Original Finishes, 51-20-00, General.
(2) See Cadmium Plated or Phosphated Metals - Surface Treatment, 51-21-26, Repair for plated
alloys.
NOTE: Do not apply or expose chlorinated primers to titanium.
