RE : INTERNAL ADVERT TECHNICAL OPERATORS (10 POSITIONS)

We wish to fill the following positions, which have arisen within our Maintenance function. Reporting to
Maintenance Supervisor, the Technical Operators will be responsible in ensuring machines are maintained
to defined standards and achieve the daily targets as set within the scheduled time.

Key Tasks:
 Maintain machine in base condition by timely identification of abnormalities and taking appropriate
corrective actions.
 Undertake timely preventive maintenance on machine as per schedule to ensure Zero breakdowns.
 Establish operation standards and ensure adherence to same during operation.
 Execute Daily Management System (DMS)1 on hourly/shift/ daily basis.
 Draft and execute CIL (Cleaning Inspection Lubrication) as per standard, and maintain line in Base
Condition.
 Solve problems as part of daily work and participate in problem solving teams in line with continuous
improvement and loss elimination/ reduction.
 Work with other team members in the line/cell – flow to where the work is.
 Achieve 100% set production, quality, and safety target in your assigned line.
 Promote safe working environment by raising Behaviour Observation System (BOS), Quick Risk
Prediction (QRP), Near miss and safety tags to report incidences.
 Implement LOTO 100%.
 Implement 5S standard and ensure own area is clean and organized.
 Draw OPLs and train fellow team members on new and existing OPLs.
 Adhere to Work Instructions and Standard Operating Procedures on a daily basis.
 Adhere to product quality guidelines and specifications.
 Attend and participate in line/ section meetings when called upon.

The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications: -


 Min. Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or related field.
 Minimum 3 years’ experience in machine operations and preventative maintenance.
 Excellent problem solving skills and a proactive approach to resolving technical issues.
 Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate clearly with colleagues and
supervisors.
