Executive Order No. 010

AN ORDER ORGANIZING THE BARANGAY DEVELOPMENT COUNCIL OF

BARANGAY SAN JOSE, TALIBON, BOHOL

WHEREAS, the Local Government Code of 1991 confers upon to the Barangay Development Council as
the primary planning unit in determining the over-all development in the barangay;

WHEREAS, said law further outlines and defined the composition and function of the said council;

WHEREAS, Sec. 111 (3) of the Local Government Code of 1991 confers upon to the Executive
Committee to represent the Barangay Development Council and act in its behalf when it is not in session;

NOW THEREFORE, I, Josefina C. Gurrera, Punong Barangay of San Jose, Municipality of Talibon,
Bohol, by the powers vested in me by the law, do hereby organize the Barangay Development Council as follows:

Section 1. Composition. The Barangay Development Council (BDC) is hereby organized to be constituted as
follows:
A. Barangay Development Council (BDC) pursuant to Section 107 (a) of R.A. No. 7160 Composition
Chairperson: Punong Barangay Josefina C. Gurrea
Members:
Sangguniang Barangay Member Feddy Boy Apondar
Sangguniang Barangay Member Carina Cajes
Sangguniang Barangay Member Elmerlito Gurrea
Sangguniang Barangay Member Pio Gurrea
Sangguniang Barangay Member Elvin Crescencio
Sangguniang Barangay Member Virginia Villabeto
Sangguniang Barangay Member Ranulfo Artiaga
SK Chairman Ruel R. Aguilar
Interfaith group representative: Alberto Mier
Senior Citizen representative: Mario Gurrea

Functions: Sec. 109 (b) of R.A. No. 7160

1. Mobilize people participation in local development efforts;
2. Prepare a barangay development plan based on legal requirements;
3. Monitor and evaluate the implementation of national or local programs and projects; and
4. Perform such other functions as may be provided by law or competent authority.

B. Barangay Development Council Secretariat pursuant to Sec. 113 of R.A No. 7160
Composition: Hannah Joy Credo Barangay Secretary
Functions:
1. Shall be responsible for providing technical support, documentation of proceedings, preparation of
reports and such other assistance as may be required in the discharge of its functions.

Section 2. Effectivity. This order takes effect immediately.
