The Screen enables the different menus, sub-menus and parameters related to
the type of feeder to be displayed.
The Setpoint key is used to read, and depending on the configuration, modify the
setpoint applied to the feeder.
The red alarm LED enables the detection of a new alarm if it is flashing, or if it is
on set an alarm which is still present.
The alarm key is used to display one or more alarms after the key is pressed
once, then after the alarms present are noted and the problems resolved, a sec-
ond press acknowledges the alarms.
Note: If the LED remains on after the acknowledgement, the alarm has not disappeared or other
alarms are still active. This LED will go off on its own even when the alarms acknowledged have
disappeared.
The main page key is used to quickly display the main parameters.
The previous key is used to go back one step in the display hierarchy.

The menu key is used to display the menus, sub-menus and parameters related
to the feeder.
The next key is used to move onto the next line in the menu list.
The return or erase key is used to go back in the menu list or parameters dis-
played or to erase a value in the case of programming a parameter.
The blue volumetric LED when lit indicates that the feeder is operating in volumet-
ric mode, if it is off the feeder is in gravimetric mode.
The totaliser key is used to reset the daily totaliser to zero. Once you press this
key you must then enter the value zero (0) then press the enter key to
reset the daily totaliser. Caution: once you have reset to zero you cannot go back.
The F1 and F2 keys are keys on which you can program actions or direct ac-
cesses through these two keys, for example, launching a tare of empty belt on the
F1 key and reading the belt load on the F2 key.
To assign a parameter or a function to one of these two keys you must find the
parameter or function by navigating around the different menus and sub-menus
then once you have found the element press the F1 or F2 key depending in the
key to be programmed for 5 seconds.
The start key is used to start the feeder. The green start LED provides information
on the start-up status. See the table below.
The stop key is used to stop the feeder. The red stop LED provides information
on the shutdown status. See the table below.
The entry or validate key is used to enter in the selected line in the menu hierar-
chy or to validate a new parameter modification.

The Screen enables the different menus, sub-menus and parameters related to
the type of feeding and mechanics associated with the controller.
The Formula key is used to read, and depending on the configuration, modify the
selection of formula used for feeding.
The red alarm LED enables the detection of a new alarm if it is flashing, or if it is
on set an alarm which is still present.
The alarm key is used to display one or more alarms after the key is pressed
once, then after the alarms present are noted and the problems resolved, a sec-
ond press acknowledges the alarms.
Note: If the LED remains on after the acknowledgement, the alarm has not disappeared or other
alarms are still active. This LED will go off on its own even when the alarms acknowledged have
disappeared.

scales is stable.
The totaliser key is used to reset the daily totaliser to zero. Once you press this

The F1 key is a key on which you can programme the launch of an actions or
read a direct access parameter through this key, for example, reading the weight
on the scales by pressing the F1 key.

have found the element press the F1 key for 5 seconds.
The cycle start key is used to start the feeding cycle. The green cycle start LED
provides information on the start-up status. See the table below.
The start emptying key starts the feeding cycle emptying phase. The green start
emptying LED provides information on the status of the cycle. See the table be-
low.

7 WHAT TO DO WHEN...?

Note:
The following connections are required for the SDU console to operate correctly:
- Power supply
- BUS LON to connect the controller, e.g. SCM2
- Correct configuration of the digital inputs (may block the operation of the keyboard
according
to the statuses!)
8 MAINTENANCE
8.1 Cleaning
Clean out the dust or dirt which has built up on the outside
surface of the unit with a soft cloth and standard cleaning
products.
Precautions
Never use a corrosive or solvent product.
If you use alchohol, avoid leaving any deposits of alcohol and
wipe the surface clean straight away.
