Part 1: Christmas Vocabulary
-T uses Christmas Vocabs PPT to teach new words.
-T uses VTA file to ask some CCQs to check students’ understanding. -T calls some random students to answer orally and whole class for repeating. *While teaching new words, T must check students’ spelling carefully.
Part 2: Play game to review vocabs (Optional – If
there is enough time) Suggestion: play slap the board, using sticky balls to slap or to throw at the correct Vocab or using the Christmas Flashcards
*While playing the game, T and TAs must check
students’ answers carefully and help them by giving some hints or back-up questions.
60 mins Handcraft (Christmas Masks) Making a Handcraft Individuals
Christmas PPT -T uses Handcraft PPT to introduce How to make a mask Christmas mask step by step. -T and TAs give out the necessary materials for students.
*Interaction tip: While showing PPT for teaching, T
can ask students some related questions and encourage them to answer in full sentence. *T must set rules such as “Don’t tear”, “Be nice with the paper, crayon, glue” *T and TAs must go around and help students and ensure safety as well.
35 mins Food & drinks and Pictures Food & Individuals
drinks and Party time: Pictures -T must ask ss to wash their hands before enjoying the party. -T and TAs give out the food for ss and make sure that everyone has enough food for their own.
Picture time: -Take all ss downstairs for photo taking. -T must ensure safety during moving time.
*This session depends on the photo taking plan so
T can be flexible to adjust the timing for these activities accordingly during class time.
