Validity:
A New Driver's License shall be valid for five (5) years reckoned from the date of birth of the licensee, unless sooner revoked or suspended. A DL
holder who has not committed any violation/s during the five (5) years period preceding its expiration shall be entitled to a renewal of such license valid
for ten (10) years.

Note: a. Processing time includes waiting time and starts upon the submission of complete requirements.

c. Foreigners applying for conversion of Foreign Driver's License to Philippine Driver's License shall receive their Driver's License via registered mail thru the Philippine Postal Service.
