Other commercial implications / savings:
Taking the pressurization system as shown compared with the Depressurisation system on
the West Core:
1 No fans or shaft to pressurise the stair required.

2 Fans to pressurise the lobby removed Circa 45kw.
3 Fans to depressurise the lobby added Circa 9kw.
4 Ductwork to serve the lift lobby to have a damper at each floor.
5 Ductwork to serve the lobby removed.
6 Accommodation air relief not required.
7 Extract system within basement removed.
8 Size of protected power supply to the system dramatically reduced.
Installation: Fixing of all the above items shall be carried out in one continuous operation.
Our quotation has been based upon continuity of work during normal working hours
(8:00am to 5:30pm Monday to Friday) with clear adequate site access at all times.
Installation will proceed on a mutually agreed programme of works. Any additional
cost resulting from or delays or acceleration caused or required by others would be
submitted as an additional item. A re-established charge for return to site will be
£525.00 for each occasion.
Scaffolding: Any scaffold / access / hoisting equipment available for our use and provided by
others should be suitable for our requirements. Should this not be the case, an
additional charge will be levied to cater for our operations.
Sealants: Our offer does not include for final pointing.
Drawings: Drawings will be supplied for the contract placed within 4 weeks from receipt of
Construction Issue drawings in DWG format.
Design: 10% of contract value will be due for payment upon issue/approval of design
drawings.
O&M: Operation & Maintenance Manuals are available on request at a cost of £50.00 for
the first and £15.00 for each copy thereafter. This will consist of a colour project
specific hard copy of the manual, a full CD containing the O&M, as-built drawings in
AutoCAD .dwg format and an electronic copy of our louvre brochure.
Attendances: The attendance’s implicit in our offer are set out on the enclosed attendances
schedule.
Terms &: Our Terms & Conditions will apply in absence of any others being agreed.
Conditions
Payment: Within 30 days from submission of invoice.
V.A.T: All prices quoted exclude VAT, which will be charged at the rates ruling at time of
invoice.
Validity: Our quotation is open for acceptance for a period of 90 days from quotation date.
Variations: Our price is based on the cost of the items stated above. Should variations occur
they will be priced and charged accordingly.
Credit: Our offer is subject to a satisfactory credit arrangement being reached at the
contract stage.
Retentions: Due to our limited involvement in this project, it is deemed that Retentions are not
accepted.
