This exhibition follows the life story of Mr. Han Pao-Teh and uses the

theme of "The Remains of the Green Mountain". The design is based

on "A Day in the Life of Han Pao-Teh" and aims to showcase the

epitome of his lifetime. The permanent exhibition is divided into four

themes: "The Rising Sun", "The Blazing Sun", "The Setting Sun", and

"The Bright Moon". It uses interactive multimedia, contextual

installations, old photographs, and artifacts collected by Mr. Han Pao-

Teh during his life. The exhibition is designed to promote

contemporary learning and encourage visitors to feel the emotions

evoked by the exhibits. The layout includes rotatable interactive

media and artifact display cabinets, breaking away from the

traditional memorial hall framework. The exhibition is aimed at

students and faculty of Tainan National University of the Arts and

encourages them to learn and curate together. It is a sustainable

space that can practice the theory of the art department.

The carefully planned use of a low color saturation, multi-layered

movement, and appropriate contextual design allows the audience to

fully immerse themselves in the inner spiritual world of the master.

The square volume is primarily made of clear water moldings,

skillfully combining circular curves and warm wood tones to create a

spatial image that is both rigid and flexible. The original building's

staggered staircases and the interplay of light and shadow in the

space create a sense of rhythm, resulting in a vibrant and lively

atmosphere.

The original site of this project stands a building of raw concrete. The

designers opted for a minimalist approach to match the building's

tone. They used lines and satin printing on the walls and added

numerous images and artifacts to depict Mr. Han Pao-Teh’s simple

and aesthetic style. Furthermore, the main body of the building's

pure beauty was preserved, and a staggered circulation plan was

added to create a sensory experience that blends reality and fiction.

This provides the viewer with a unique and captivating viewing

experience.
