MESA, Ariz., March 11, 2024 – Flour Power Cooking Studios, the North Carolina-based
community cooking concept, opened its 17th franchise at 1639 South Stapley Drive, Suite 103
on March 6.
Flour Power Cooking Studios offers hands-on collaborative culinary experiences in its signature
kitchens, encouraging a lifelong love for cooking that positively impacts the physical, mental,
and social well-being of people of all ages.
Flour Power offers more than 1,400 specially-curated and chef-inspired recipes for everything
from confetti pancakes to cheeseburger sliders. Each class participant receives a copy of the
recipes and ingredients used in the class, so all participants can recreate and enjoy the meal again
whenever they like.
“We are thrilled to expand the Flour Power Cooking Studios brand into the great state of
Arizona,” said Sarah Moritz, President of Flour Power Cooking Studios. “Opening our doors in
Mesa-Gilbert marks a significant milestone for our franchise, and we’re honored to introduce our
unique culinary experience to the Phoenix area and this growing community.”
All Flour Power franchise locations are locally owned and operated. The Mesa Gilbert location is
run by the husband-and-wife team of Jamie and Michael Bialowitz. With 30 years of experience
and expertise in business development and human resources, the Bialowitz’ are excited to share
their newest creation with Arizona businesses and families.

WHAT: Flour Power Cooking Studios Mesa-Gilbert is hosting a Grand Opening event to celebrate
their arrival to the valley. Flour Power is a North Carolina-based franchised cooking studio
that hosts birthday parties, camps, corporate events and classes.
The event will start with an official ribbon-cutting ceremony hosted by the Mesa
Chamber of Commerce. Then the party will move inside to discover Flour Power’s kitchen.

MESA, Ariz., March 11, 2024 – Flour Power Cooking Studios Mesa-Gilbert is offering its first
season of summer camps from May 27 to July 31.
Flour Power Mesa-Gilbert is calling all mini master chefs ages 5-12 for epic adventures in the
kitchen. These hands-on camps are the place to stir up fun and culinary masterpieces no matter
the skill level.
This summer, Flour Power Mesa-Gilbert is also introducing a unique leadership-focused camp,
exclusively offered to chefs ages 13-14 years old, known as Flour EmPower. In these week-long
sessions, Junior Leaders will whisk together teamwork and community service to cook up
confidence in the leaders of tomorrow.
From aprons and recipes, to tasty snacks to fuel creativity, Flour Power has everything the chefs
will need for a day filled with flavor and fun. As a bonus treat, Flour Power gifts a recipe booklet
of all the meals made in camp for the chefs to recreate at home. Flour Power recommends
campers wear comfortable clothing and close-toed shoes for a safe and stylish kitchen adventure.
Camp registration is now open at the Flour Power Cooking Studios Mesa-Gilbert location at
1639 S Stapley Dr., Suite 103, Mesa, Ariz. Class spots are limited and filling up quickly.
Single-day and three-day camps are offered as full-day experiences. Five-day camp sessions are
offered as either full-day or half-day sessions. A full day of camp runs from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., and
half days are either 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. or 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Plus, for busy parents and guardians, Flour Power Mesa-Gilbert offers before and after-camp
care for an extra fee. Before-care will begin at 8 a.m. on the day of the camp and after-care will
run until 5 p.m.
