1. PROFILE

I am currently holding a Bachelor degree of Science in Agricultural and Natural Resource

Economics and Business of the University of Dar es salaam. I have been well mentored through
my course to perform multi tasks in different Agricultural Economics and Business as well as
in Agricultural Product Marketing, Natural Resources and Environment Economics,
Economic management and Policy Analysis, Development Economics and
Entrepreneurship and Innovation I am reliable, trustworthy, positive, and competent self-
driven, self-motivated, hardworking, proactive and driven by passion to perform my duties and
tasks. Able to work on own initiative, independently, committed to implement quality and
different task assigned as well as work under pressure to meet the set targets.

July 2022 – September 2022: Practical training at Tanzania Tobacco Board at Tabora
region as a classifier of Tobacco.

Duties and Responsibilities.

 Data Entry through Microsoft Excel on existing stake holders and processing the data to
obtain information for decision making. Information from market centre such as bought
tobacco in kilogram as well as its values in term of grade, amount of tobacco rejected from
each market from the market, primary, and union for each district which helps to process
information to be used for annual meeting and knowing amount produced in region.

 Registration of Tobacco growers through Agricultural Trading Management System and

offer New TTB Number. Every farmer who produces tobacco might have a unique number
which is verified by Tanzania Tobacco Board after a farmer provided accurate information
needed to the Board so assigned to register new farmer of tobacco after providing right
information such National ID number, size of land farmer owns, number of workers, modern
burn etc.

 Grading Analysis of tobacco crop produced in each district such as Tabora municipal, Huyui
and Urambo Assigned to make analysis on produced tobacco for each grade and helped to
identify which grade dominated in the market for each district, also provided information
used for decision making and solving problem after knowing grade with low quality.

 Evaluation and analyzing of Market reports of Tobacco Crop done from different cooperative
Union within each council. This involve identifying associated problem from produced
tobacco depend on the amount bought and rejected by the company and to obtain information
used for decision making during annual meeting in given season (2021/22).
 Preparation of reports such Grade Analysis and Crop Structure for Tobacco Crop for the
season 2022/23 in Tabora Region. This help for company to make decision on approximating
amount of tobacco to be produced in the future season.

 Participating in preparing and facilitating tabacco stakeholder’s annual meeting in the region.
This meeting involved different company from Tabora region buying tobacco such as JTI,
Alliance one, Magefa Company and Banks such as CRDB Bank, NMB Bank aimed to
discuss problem faced during production and marketing as well as providing approximate for
future production of tobacco to cooperative union in 2023 seasons.

 Extension Services to the Farmers during marketing season for Tobacco Products. It was
involved the provisions of education to the farmer who can’t identify well grade as well as
how to baling sheds of tobacco balling during marketing.

 Assigned to classifying of some tobacco grade during buying of tobacco in the market centre,
which involved offering of grade of tobacco during marketing example of these market
center are Japanese International Company (JTI), Mkwawa Leaf Tobacco Company.
