From my personal point of view, I have learned that the outcome of an activity lies in

the mindset of an individual engaging in that activity. I enjoy running early in the
morning at 5:00am, and from personal experience I understand the psychology of
exercise and fitnes. It is important to prioritise self-care, and exercise is one of the great
ways to ensure that. Here are three great tips an individual can implement in order to
exercise effectively.

Tip one: "Reprogram your brain" Erick Vance. (May 4, 2024). The first step to take in
order to promote effective exercise and fitness is to first reprogram your mind
beforehand. Reprogramming your brain involves treating yourself every time you do
something you find difficult to do. This helps to create a positive attitude towards
exercise and fitness. Psychologically, a positive attitude normally results in positive and
fulfilling results.

Tip two: Get a friend or a family member to do the exercise routine with you. Before
my younger brother went to university, we would wake up early in the morning and
challenge each other, we would compete to see who is faster. From personal experience,
exercising with my younger brother has helped me to have a fulfilling exercise routine
and fitness in my life. Most importantly, having my brother to exercise with me really
boasted my morale.

Tip three: set a constant reminder beforehand. Psychologically, the mind will eventually
get used to the constant reminder, making the exercise routine enjoyable and fulfilling.
Keeping electronic calendars is really helpful towards effective exercise and fitness.
Psychologically, it is said that if you regularly repeat a certain act, it eventually turns
into a habit. So why not implementing the constant reminder tip and create a habit
which is beneficial to your health and well-being?

To conclude, exercise and fitness is good for an individual's health. By implementing


the strategies and tips I mentioned above, I assure you that you can enjoy exercising in
your life.
