Prerequisite : None

Course Learning : At the end of the course, students should be able to:
1. CLO1: Demonstrate digital skills in the system’s analysis, design and

development using current and emerging system development software
and tools (PLO6, A4)
2. CLO2: Integrate leadership skills and responsibilities in the development of
the information system projects (PLO8, A4)
3. CLO3: Propose entrepreneurial elements in information system projects
through the system development plan (SDP) (PLO10, A3)

Course : This course will enable the students to experience the planning, analysis,
Description design and development phases of an Information System (IS) for the Final
Year Project. The student also will be exposed to a general introduction to
software engineering, structured methodology, and the latest techniques
and tools used in systems analysis and design. Students also will be introduced
to modelling techniques for the development of an IS Project that includes
analysis and the project requirements, design description, test documentation
and project report. The students will be guided to produce a business plan
proposal in the System Development Plan (SDP) to enhance their
entrepreneurial skills. Students also should be able to communicate the
project outcome effectively through oral presentations.
