Part II (Numerical Problem)

a. The probability that a bomb dropped from a plane will strike the target is ⅕. If 6 bombs
are dropped find the probability that:
Exactly two will strike the target.
At least two will strike the target.
b. If in a lot of 500 solenoids 25 are defective, find the probability of 0, 1, 2, 3 defective
solenoids in a random sample of 20 solenoids.
