Troubleshooting guide of heater Assy issue

Open the top cover of the instrument, on the controller PCB find connector J26.

Remove connector J26, check the following.

Please check the resistance value (Ohm) from (Brown (1) to Red probe) and (orange (3) to Black
probe) of the meter. Record the reading and input into claim report.
(Ans:_____________2.5____________)
Ohm

Next, please check the resistance value (Ohm) from (Brown (1) to Black probe) and (Orange (3) to
Red probe of the multi meter. Record the reading and input into claim report.
(Ans:_______2.6Ohm_________) 540 Ohm 9.12 - 8.75M Ohm
This is to confirm the condition of the heater.

Checking input power to the instrument

Please confirm the supply power input to the instrument.

1) Live to neutral (Ans:___________216Vac_____________)

2) Neutral to Ground (Ans:_______1.6Vac_______________)
3) Live to Ground (Ans:___________217Vac_____________)

Check the DC power to the controller board

Remove connector shown in the picture above, check the following.

Use a multi meter select DC voltage. Turn the instrument On.

1) Measure the voltage (Orange to black probe) and (Blue to Red probe) (Ans:_____23.9Vdc ______)
2) Measure the voltage (Yellow to black probe) and (Green to red Probe) (Ans:____23.9Vdc_______)
3) Measure the voltage (Green to black Probe) and (Blue to red probe) (Ans:_____0.0Vdc_______)

After the test turn off the instrument.

Check the Optical temperature sensor (Thermistor)

From the top cover of the instrument, on the controller PCB find connector J27.

Use a multi meter select Ohm mode. Place the probe on the connector of the temperature sensor.
Record the Ohm value. (Ans:____________9.6KOhm________________)
