I have learned a lot after reading and participating in peer reviews.
Firstly, The partner’s work has provided me with some fascinating insights, unique ideas, and new vocabularies. Secondly, I found it helpful to get feedback from my partner. Embracing feedback, whether positive or constructive criticism, is essential for improving my writing skills. Recognizing the value of peer feedback in refining my writing skills helps in developing a receptive attitude toward improvement. Finally, by assessing whether or not individual student examples meet the requirements, I am forced to focus on goals instead of getting distracted entirely by grammar and mechanics or by my own anxiety. To be able to do well in peer preview, I need to have a basic knowledge of essay structure, styles, and supportive language in order to improve in peer review; these were the difficulties I developed into during the process. The most significant lesson I've learnt is that I need to practice more and increase my vocabulary and reading comprehension abilities. I am extremely appreciative to the friends and instructors that helped me during these activities.
