DETAILED LESSON PLAN

Key Concepts/ *Some regions in our country are rich with animals that are unique in color and skin covering,
Understanding to be just like Tamaraw in Mindoro, Pilandok in Palawan and Philippine Eagle in Davao and many

*Color-resist painting technique means that the crayon will repel the watercolor away from it.

*There are 5 steps in making color resist painting:


1. Lay bond paper on the surface of the table.
2. Draw a design or picture with the crayons pressing hand to have a slightly thicker-than-usual
layer of wax/crayon. Be sure to leave some areas of the bond paper plain as well.
3. Wet the watercolor paints with the water and the brush. Pick a color that will contrast well
with the crayon. For example, if the crayon drawing is primarily darker colors, use a lighter
color of paint.
4. Apply the paint or watercolor over the entire surface of the paper. The crayon will repel the
paint, but the paint will color the rest of the page.
5 .Leave the paper flat on the table until it is thoroughly dried.

Activity Group pupils into four groups….
7 min. Each group will be given a picture of animals.
Let them observe their habits, colors, and the elements of art used like lines, shapes, and
textures in their skin coverings.

2.Ipintal kini sa oslo paper.
3.Butangi ang mga espasyo sa complimentary colors gamit ang
krayola.
4.Butangi og tubig gamit ang brush .Tan-awa kon giunsa pagsagang
sa krayola nga matabonan ang pinintal aron nga dili makatabon sa
drawing.
