Rupavahini on 7th April 2020 (Esala Poya Day).

Lions Club International District 306-A

In July 2019 Addressed the Lions Cabinet Installation Ceremony in the


Presence of a large audience consisting of Lions & Rotarians, her
subject was on Global Environment Protection her address lasted
nearly fifteen minutes and without any notes for the speech. She was
given a rousing applause by the audience, who congratulated her for
the knowledge what she imparted.

For her recognition she was honored with “The Lanka Lions
Foundation Plaque” in recognition of her “Dedicated Humanitarion
Services” to the
Less fortunate people of Mother Lanka. Thus being awarded
“Mahendra Amarasuriya Fellowship” (MAF) plaque. She is the
youngest recipient at the age of nine to receive such an award.
Plus she is involved in many Lions projects such as Multi-service
Health camps, and various projects island wide with her parents.
