This course is designed to further develop the learner's confidence and fluency in using the English language
and to enrich their learning experience through interactive lessons and communicative exercises.
Upon completion of the course, students should be able to:

- Identify Main Ideas and Supporting Details: Outlining a text


- Recognize Organizational Structures : taking notes with graphic organizers
- Understand Research Articles: Summarizing a research article
- Identify Facts an Opinion:Quoting materials from a reading
- Understand Implication & Inference: Pharaphasing
- Understand Cause and Effect, and Correlation: Using Flow Charts to note causes and effects
- Determine an Author's Purpose and Tone: Using discriptive imagery
- Understand Visuals: Explaining information in visuals
- Organize and structure at the sentence level, paragraph level and the essay level

- Learn, practice and acquire the skills necessary to deliver effective,


presentation with clarity and impact

Students are also expect to:

- Be cooperative, supportive, and responsible in group work


- Take advantages of online applications, language labs, and online platforms in performing learning tasks
- Adhere to plagiarism rules in performing learning tasks.
- Demonstrate critical thinking
