About the Institute
NIDMP, an esteemed institute under the DPIIT, Ministry of Commerce
and Industry, Government of India, is a shining beacon of creativity and
the institute of national importance. Situated amidst the serene beau-
ty of Acharpura in Bhopal, this captivating campus spans 29.49 acres,
blending nature’s splendor with cutting-edge technology and innovative
design. NIDMP firmly believes in nurturing artistic imagination, lofty
aspirations, boundless innovation, and unwavering excellence through
quality teaching. With a diverse student body and dedicated staff, it fos-

NIDMP offers three programs namely communication design, industri-
al design and textile & apparel design. Students embark on a transforma-
tive journey starting with a comprehensive one year foundation course.
They then choose their desired program, guided by their passions and
achievements. Over the following three years, they delve deep into their
chosen field, acquiring profound knowledge and honing their skills.
Upon completion, these exceptional individuals proudly graduate with
a distinguished Bachelor of Design degree, a testament to their remark-
able achievements and the unwavering commitment of NIDMP Guided
by a learner-centered approach, NIDMP cherishes each student’s unique
potential, fostering an atmosphere of care and dedication. Simultane-
ously, it cultivates a spirited environment of healthy competition, fuel-
ling perpetual growth.
Summer Workshop for Design Enthusiasts

From the 26th to the 31st of May 2024, NIDMP opens its doors
to design enthusiasts, inviting them to explore, learn, and inno-
vate in an immersive environment.
At NIDMP, we believe in nurturing talent and fostering creativ-
ity. Our summer workshop is designed to provide participants
with a unique opportunity to unleash their creative potential,
enhance their skills, and delve into the world of design educa-
tion. Through a series of engaging activities and hands-on expe-
riences, participants will discover the transformative power of
design and its applications in various domains.
Dive into the realm of Model Making, where imagination takes
shape and ideas come to life. Delve into the art of Calligraphy,

Explore the versatility of Clay Design, molding and sculpting
creations that reflect your vision. Immerse yourself in the vi-
brant hues of Tie and Dye, and unravel the secrets of this ancient
craft. Experience the rich tradition of Weaving, as you learn the
techniques passed down through generations. Engage in insight-
ful Design Talks, where experts share their knowledge and expe-
riences, inspiring new perspectives and ideas.
