The BA Sociology Program aims to develop researchers, social analysts and development practioners who can
effectively communicate, apply concepts and theories with gender lens to the analysis of society’s culture and
social issues in Mindanao and other areas; use research skills in designing, implementing, and assessing social
programs and projects; and practice professional and ethical standards of Sociology and other discipline.
