• The word discipline which is we are referring to in the content of academics.
• This should not be confused with school discipline. It is related to field of study.
• The term discipline is defined as a branch of learning or knowledge. It is a technical term for organization of
learning and systematic production of new knowledge.

• Study of particular field or area in which the basis of study in research work. It is related to deep exploration
of particular area.
