Ethyl acetate(EA) extract of the stem bark of Cylicotiiscus gabunensis (CG) was analysed phytochemically and evaluated for its antimicrobial activity. The best MIC and MBC values for the microorganisms sensitive to the extract were 0.00078 and 0.00315 mg / ml respectively. These results provide a rationalization for the traditional use of this plant for the treatment of infections diseases.
