4. Aim of Visit:
 To conduct FMF standardization at all woredas (Shashemene, Negele Arsii,
Ziway, Akakki, Adama, Shone, Halaba, Dodola & Adaba)
 Support and deliver forging materials for mentor farrier to make produce in
advance of the upcoming training, 5 pair of front and hind steel shoe making in
dodola, Adaba, halaba and Negele Arsii mentor farreirs.
 Working with accurate number of animals addressed in monthly base pilot at
Negele Arsii - (Fikadu Tesfaye-AHFO)

5. Specific Objectives:
 Identify the major gaps on the tool usage and report for improvement on AHFO
 Measure the current skill gaps on existing farriers service for training package
development during refresher training.
 Record the standardization difference among and report to fill the gap in future
training period

6. Specific Outputs:
 Technical support for BE AHFO on standardized FMF rubric scoring
 Support the availability of steel shoe making tools at Negele Arsii, Dodola and
Adaba
 Visit report development- (Abdurazak Bamud- FHC)
