There are two versions of the reporting software exist, a Full-Version is licenced to the inspection organisation who purchased the Floormap system, and @ Read-Only version for use by the end client / report viewer. SIMS Software Licence Terms The standard licence terms for the SIMS software allow a maximum of three activation keys per Floormap system. To obtain an activation key please refer to the SIMS Activation section for further information and please retain the supplied activation keys for future reference. Additional ‘activation keys can be purchased if required by contacting the Silverwing (UK) Lid. The read only version of the SIMS software can be freely issued by the licensed owner's organisation to their inspection clients atthe licensed owner's discretion Minimum System requirements ‘The following specifications are the minimum operating requirements for the SIMS Software. Starting the Software Installation Interface To install the software from the Installation CD, insert the CD into the computer CD drive. A CD autorun window should appear as show in figure 1 below. The software requires activation prior to use and must be activated using an activation key obtained from Silverwing (UK) Ltd. This is to prevent user from installing the Full-Version of software on more than three separate computers as per the software license conditions. Version 3.0 onwards To activate the SIMS software all fields in the Floormap Product Activation window must be completed, To complete enter: 4. Enter a user name in the User field Enter a Company name in the Company field Select the required Floormap Version from the dropdown box. Enter the serial number for the Floormap into the Floormap Serial Number. ‘Once the above fields have been filled, click the Generate Serial button. This will generate ‘a serial number which is unique to the computer. If an error message appears please check that the software is set to run in admin mode. 6. Click on the Copy information ( paste in email ) button. This copies the User, Company, Floormap Version, Floormap Serial Number, Reporting Software version number and the unique serial number from the Floormap Product Activation window as text. This can be pasted into an email, Microsoft Word, or equivalent.
