Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR)
In the 6AY engine,the internalEGR systemis used This designdoes not requireany externalcontroldevices
or any significantchangesto the enginestructure In externalEGR, the line of the engineand superchargermust be equippedwith devices
such as EGR solenoidvalvesand coolers,and controlmust be performedforthem. But in internalEGR,
thesefunctionscan be performedby controllingthe lift of the intakeand exhaustvalve.
