We have planned a meeting to be held in Washington, D. C. with Honeywell's senior
corporate management and senior executive officers of our user community. ‘The
meeting will be held the afternoon and evening of May 24, 1979 at the Mayflower
Hotel. I have enclosed an agenda for your information,
‘The purpose of this meeting will be to diseuss Honeywell's current progress in the
computer industry and to give you our views regarding the trends of the industry and
our plans for the future. We also would like to hear your views on how we can better
meet the needs of our users.
Our guest speaker will be John F. Rockart, Director of the Center for Informational
Systems Research, Alired P. Sloan School of Management, MIT, whose subject will
be — Some Key Information Systems Trends end Implications for Management.
Dick Kane, our Program Menager, will be contacting you shortly to determine your
availability and answer any questions you may have.
