INSTRUCTIONS TO BE FOLLOWED WHILE WORKING ON ECONOMICS PROJECT

1. A-4 sized sheets to be used (inter-leaf). All sheets to be colored/white should be of same size. Avoid
using sheets with animated borders.
2. All work should be hand written. Print outs/ scanned copies are not to be used as content.
3. Red/Green ink not to be used in the project.
4. Headings for each section/segment of the project to be emboldened with colored ink. (Except red and
green)
5. Project work to be done neatly, not in a rushed handwriting.
6. Project work to be signed by the teacher first then attached in a folder.
7. Use good quality, water-proof, smudge-proof gel pens, as the project has to be maintained till the end of
the session.
8. Project work must have a lot of pictorial presentations such as charts, pictures, newspaper clippings,
diagrams, graphs.
9. Adhere to the deadline with regard to project submission.
10. Project must have the following segments:
i) Cover Page- (check attachment for format) must be well adorned, bright and colorful, pictorial with
a catchy title, to be handwritten.
ii) Title page- Check another attachment.
iii) Aim of the project- To know, to understand, to get detailed information on, to acquire knowledge, to
study, to find out. (Write 3-4 points in bullets)
iv) Certificate- Check attachment.
v) Acknowledgement- check attachment (to be handwritten)
vi) Index. (fill this once the project has been finalized)
vii) Introduction to the project with reference to the topic-(Minimum 300 words) Statement of the
problem, objective/need of the project, importance/scope of study, brief methodology.
viii) Analysis/ A study on ______ (theoretical content/ information)
ix) Conclusion- opinion based on the overall study conducted through the project.
x) Bibliography (References)- In alphabetical order. Eg: CBSE guidelines; Introduction to
Mi(a)croeconomics- C.B. Sachdeva or any other reference you took help from with the year of
edition, Textbook by NCERT, www. _________.com, Name of the journals, papers used for
information [WRITE IN BULLETS, IN VERTICAL ORDER]
