 2. Company Overview

2.1 Introduction
Riteside Projects (Pty)Ltd is a 100% black owned and
managed full service construction company established in
2013 and based in Gauteng.

2.2 History
Jerry Thulo was operating under the banner of Deepline
Enterprice (Pty)Ltd for a number of years. Some of the
projects completed by Deepline Enterprice are listed on the
recent projects section of this document.

Jerry has now joined forces with long time technical partner
and Civil Engineer, Conelius Kagoro, to form the recently
registered company Riteside Projects (Pty) Ltd. The two
executive directors are the force involved in the business
development, procurement, project management and
administration of the company.

Although Riteside Projects is a recently registered company,

the directors have between us over 30 years of construction
experience and together with our qualified and experienced
employees, we are well positioned to provide top quality
construction and project management services.

2.3 Vision
Our vision is to become reputable and preferred building
contractor who is well known for delivering beyond the client’s
expectations.

2.4 Mission
Our mission is to provide building and construction expertise
to our clients and to deliver all projects to the required quality,
on time and on budget.

Riteside Projects (Pty) Ltd takes on the role of the main
contractor for small to medium size projects and performs
project management services to co-ordinate specialist trades.
We will also undertake sub-contract works on certain types of
projects as well as provide a labour-only breakdown should a
client wish to purchase building materials.
Our project management and execution philosophy is:
 Clearly establish project objectives and scope
 Create a project team suitable for the project needs,
which may include specialist sub-contractors
 Create a detailed MS Project© schedule and
resources plan to meet project objectives
 Establish risk and quality management plans
 Communicate clearly with all project stakeholders

4. SHEQ MANAGEMENT
Safety & Health
Riteside Projects (Pty) Ltd adheres closely to the OHS Act and
Construction Regulations. We maintain high standards of safety
and care is taken to educate our teams on the hazards of
construction.
Management takes the safety and health policy as their
participative responsibility and continued education and
awareness is maintained. All personnel are issued with safety
equipment. The working conditions are fair and the health of the
work force is always considered in planning and executing a work
plan.
Environment
Riteside Projects (Pty)Ltd emphasises environmental awareness
in all we do. We are keenly aware of the impact we and our
projects may have on the environment and, as a result, implement
programmes and policies to minimise adverse effects focusing on
construction methods and materials that allow for an
environmentally responsible project construction process.
We have established ongoing communication and training
programmes to increase individual awareness levels of
environmental issues, responsibilities and accountabilities.
Quality
We implement intensive development and training programmes in
an effort to constantly raise our performance and set standards at
the level we consider in keeping with our approach of delivering
quality products to our clients.

both in new building and property
renovations. Jerry was a director
at T.J Construction which serviced
the Msunduzi Municipality in KZN
for 5 years as construction
manager.

Refilwe oversees the
administration of the
company. She is qualified in
financial administration with
specialisation in payroll and
bookkeeping.

Jerry also worked for Royal International Llc in United States,

where he held a position of a Project Manager overseeing a
variety of building projects across United States from 2008 until
