It is important to remember that dyslexic students are not all the same. Some of
M2
them will be capable of completing A or B test versions but might need more help
with the reading or writing tasks, or you might need to give them more time to
complete their tests.

As students with dyslexia might suffer from low self-esteem and lack of motivation,
the main task of the teacher should be to boost their confidence and positive
attitude. This can be done by being optimistic, providing positive feedback,
and giving the opportunity to succeed.
It is the teacher who knows students’ strengths and weaknesses and who can help
them by individualising and personalising tasks. That is why along with the C version
of the tests aimed for students with learning difficulties, Brainy klasa 7. also offers
some practical tips for teachers (to be found in Teaching Notes) and Extra support
worksheets which are a part of Teacher’s Resource File (available online).
