SOP for Quality Management

Objective
 To ensure on time delivery of consistent Quality Products to enhance our customer satisfaction.
 Continually improves the effectiveness of the Quality Management System by reviewing the Quality
Objectives, Quality Policy and Quality Performances at Regular Intervals.
 To produce right quality garments at First Time, always every time as per product and buyer
requirement.

Area
This SOP is applicable to all process related Quality Management at COMPANY NAME.

Responsibility
 GM - QAD is responsible in defining Quality Objectives, Policies, Quality Manual, SOPs related to
Quality Inspections & Quality Performances for continues improvement of Quality Management.
 DGM-QAD is responsible in Training his sub-ordinates and production team on Quality Systems and
procedures.
 QA Managers are responsible in reviewing Quality Performance at Regular intervals
(Daily/Weekly/Monthly) with Quality and Production team and set Quality Goals to achieve in certain
time frame.

Organogram of Quality Management

 COMPANY NAME Quality Team is headed by independent Quality Head (GM-QAD) & reports to
CEO of the company.
 None of the Quality team either directly or indirectly report to production team. This helps;
COMPANY NAME Quality Team is independent and responsible for ensuring Product Quality
without any undue influence.

Daily Morning Meeting


 Line wise Daily Meeting. Attendees – All sewing operators, Sewing Supervisor, Line QI &
Line Controllers
 Line Wise Top 3/5 defects& DHU been discussed & daily DHU target been fixed.
Weekly Meeting on every Saturday at 2 pm
 Attendees – Fabric/Cutting Team, Sewing Line Supervisors, Sewing Floor In-charge,
Maintenance Team, Technical Team, Production Manager, Finishing Team, Quality In-
charge, Line QC, Quality Managers, DGM & GM-QAD.
 Weekly Quality Performance (Fabric/Cutting Quality, Line wise Top 3/5 Defects (Process
wise, Defect wise), Finishing Return, Product Safety etc) been reviewed and set Quality
Goals for Next Week.
 Responsible teams been set to resolve Top defects.

Monthly Meeting @ 1st week of the month


 Attendees – Fabric/Cutting Team, Sewing Line Supervisors, Sewing Floor In-charge,
Maintenance Team, Technical Team, Production Manager, Finishing Team, Quality In-
charge, Line QC Quality Managers, DGM & GM-QAD, Factory Manager, GM-Prdn & HR
Team.
 Monthly Quality Performance (Line wise performance, Buyer wise performance, Finishing
Return, Department wise DHU, Killed garment Report, etc) been reviewed and set Quality
Goals for Next Month.
 Buyer wise OQL, Product Safety & KPI’s reviewed, Top 5 defects of buyer inspection findings
been brain stormed to identify root causes and CAP team been formed.
