GUIDE FOR BOSTON CITY CAMPUS HE STUDENTS

We are excited to present the AI Tutor, our newest addition to ColCampus, designed to revolutionise
your learning experience. This guide will walk you through the features and benefits of our AI Tutor,
offering a personalised and engaging study buddy to support your educational journey.

What is AI Tutor?
AI Tutor is a personalised learning tool tailored to your individual needs. It engages with you through
question-driven dialogue, providing instant feedback to enhance your understanding. By leveraging
Artificial Intelligence, it aims to create an interactive learning environment that complements your
studies.

Key Features:

• The AI Tutor acts as your personal coach, adapting to your learning style.
• You can request explanations in simpler terms or more detail—just ask!

Getting Started:
1. Easy Access:
• Locate the AI Tutor within ColCampus for seamless integration. See the below
‘How to’ section.
2. Replacing Teaching and Learning Activity (T&L):
• AI Tutor Sessions will replace the week's scheduled T&L activity. You will receive
an Announcement (as you did here) when a new AI Tutor session has been
uploaded to ColCampus.
3. Study Sidekick, Not Replacement:
• Remember, the AI Tutor is an additional resource, not a substitute for your
Educators and/or Prescribed Courseware.

 HOW TO ACCESS AI TUTOR:
1. You will receive an Announcement on ColCampus when AI Tutor is being utilised (in place
of that week’s Teaching and Learning Activity. This announcement will be in the respective
module, for example:

2. When you are ready to use the AI Tutor, click on the “Modules” tab within that Module on
ColCampus. For example, if you receive an Announcement on HCTL101-1 that AI Tutor is being
utilised in Week 8, you will click on the Modules Tab on HCLT101-1.

3. You will then select the relevant AI Tutor Session. The relevant lesson details are in the
name, under the section “AI Tutor Sessions”:

 4. Click on the relevant AI Tutor Session and the relevant lesson will open:

5. You can then respond and engage with AI Tutor, by typing your response in the textbox or
by clicking one of the blue buttons:
