DAY 11

Date and time March 6, 2023 | 8:00 am – 5:00 pm

Activity On-the-Job Training

Narration of In our morning session, we first cleaned the surroundings of

the whole day our office, the Office of the Regional Division Support Unit
activity/duty (ORDSU), before going to the field for the morning ceremony. As
we participated in the Monday mandatory flag ceremony, the Police
Regional Office 02 celebrated the awarding and kick-off
ceremonies for the Women’s Month Celebration this 2023 having
the theme “WE for Gender Quality and Inclusive Society” having
Midlred Ferrer Banatao, MD, FPOGS, MHA, a Obstetrics and
Gynecology, as the speaker during the morning’s celebration.
In the afternoon, we accompanied our superior, SPO4
Bassig, to go to Brgy. Linao to gather some bamboo tress or stems
for the office. Upon our return to the office, we took a rest for a
while and had chats with our superiors in the office before having
our afternoon clean-up before leaving the office.

Knowledge This day, my main learning was that I have realized more of
gained from the great opportunities through experiences that the on-the-job
the whole day training can offer us as students who are thirst of knowledge and
duty experience. I saw how necessary it is to actually engage actively in
the activities of the organization or agency where one is.

DAY 12

Date and time March 7, 2023 | 8:00 am – 5:00 pm

Activity On-the-Job Training

Narration of This day is the beginning where motorcycles without Oplan

the whole day Visa are not anymore allowed to enter the Police Regional Office
activity/duty 02 as mentioned by the policemen at the guard house as I entered
the Camp. After a cleaning inside the Office, SPO4 Bassig lent us
his motorcycle to submit their attendance sheet to the
Administration Office where Patroman Ventolero received such
attendance sheet for today, March 7, 2023. Since there will be a
genera meeting in the office, we helped our superiors cook food for
all of them including us who are participants in the meeting where
they talked about rescheduling and reorganizing of teams in the
office. As they were having the meeting, we fixed the things we
used for the cooking.
We fixed the bamboo stems that were gathered yesterday to
prepare them to be used as fences anytime at the back of the
stockroom area in our unit, the Office of the Regional District
Support Unit.

Knowledge Today, my learning was that being organized is an

gained from advantage in an office setting because it helps us be on track and
the whole day keep on the beat of the happenings inside the office or unit. It
duty would help the workers think straight and act immediately for there
will be less to no hindrances at all except for the unforeseen ones.

DAY 13

Activity On-the-Job Training

Narration of We first did our morning routine to sightly clean the office
the whole day since we already cleaned it before we left the previous day. Since
activity/duty there was only one of our superior left in the office and he was at
the same time having online cases, we waited for some
instructions or tasks to be given as we also listen to the interesting
topic of Criminal Law during the online class. It caught our attention
because it is the perks of having like a free review for one field in
law and would be useful to our chosen field.
In the afternoon, we helped remove a rod that was peeking
out through the ground for Major Velasco said that it might be the
cause of strips and accidents. After which, we cemented the part of
the rod for it to conceal with the color of the cemented ground.
Moreover, we helped clean our office, Regional District Support
Unit, including its surroundings especially the area where there are
trees for its leaves always come off.

Knowledge Schooling in the police force is a great opportunity for

gained from reminding and teaching police officers of the laws especially the
the whole day amendments that are carried with it that are currently applicable to
duty real world. Schooling, virtual or physical, are great avenues to
improve one’s knowledge to the changes in the police force as well
as the society in general.

DAY 14

Date and time March 9, 2023 | 8:00 am – 5:00 pm

Activity On-the-Job Training

Narration of Early in the morning, our first task was by SPO$ Tappa
the whole day which was to bring their attendance sheet for today to the
activity/duty Administration Unit. When we returned, we were assigned to bring
the not functioning patrol motorcycles in the Office of the Regional
District Support Unit to the Motorpol in the Police Regional Office
02 in order to be fixed and be used properly again. We also went to
Major Velasco to the Administration Building and brought him a
small box of bullets.
In the afternoon, we were advised that there will be an
earthquake drill which was participated in the whole City of
Tuguegarao. We joined the said drill with the experience of
watching a person in a stretcher. There was a reiteration or re-
enactment of the casualties as portrayed in the earthquake drill
earlier. We were then asked to but gasoline to be used by PCMS
Malana to cut the grass surrounding the office. We also bought
snacks for the afternoon before we went to school, University of
Cagayan Valley, to get monoblock chairs which shall be used for
tomorrow’s activity or program in PRO 02.

Knowledge It is really important that before we execute our duty and function to
gained from preserve safety and peace in the country and between the citizens
the whole day and aliens in its territory, it is really necessary that the police force
duty takes it seriously to take its part in drills like earthquake drills for
their duty does not cease to just enforcing the law but it extends to
the immediate sending of help even when they are off duty such as
in instances like earthquakes and other calamities.

DAY 15

Activity On-the-Jo Training

Narration of In the morning, we helped our superiors clean a little in our

the whole day office since all of them shall be dispatched except for Major
activity/duty Velasco who had been staying at the Administration building.
Already part of our morning routine is to bring the attendance sheet
to the Administration Building. In the attendance sheet, it can be
shown that most or all of our superiors are off duty or dispatched to
the outside of the Office of the Regional District Support Unit.
Moreover, we were guided and supervised by one of our
superiors in fixing or filling the radiator of the ORDSU 02 police car
since the water content was unconsciously decreasing as well as
the car as overheating sometimes.

Knowledge The lesson that I have learned from the chief mechanic in
gained from the office is that to be considered responsible in using or driving
the whole day cars, one must not only know the etiquette in driving and the road
duty signs or knowing how to use the steering wheel and the whole car,
but it has a deep of responsibility in also knowing the car’s different
parts, functions, probable misfunctions in able that the user/driver
would also show importance in gently using the car especially
police cars which are used to serve and protect those in need.
