Content Director 04/23 to present
Acrisure
• Content and project lead for $300,000 Acrisure Fan Advantage brand partnership with the Pittsburgh Post-
Gazette. Monitored campaign, managed relationship with Post-Gazette team, developed content and landing
page resulting in millions of views, lead generation, brand building and awareness across US through unique
nature of the program.
• Brand communications lead for community partner content including preparing and executing communications
plans for major initiatives such as Acrisure’s $7.5M gift to UPMC Children’s Hospital, Acrisure’s $30M gift to
secure naming rights for the Acrisure Amphitheater as well as the development of print collateral for internal
and external audiences, press releases and video content.
• Led the redesign and launch of internal Communications and Brand Center including the launch of a brand
tips video series, key messages and collateral to prep 17,000+ employees coming together under the Acrisure
brand for the first time in the U.S.
• Led the creation and implementation of co-branded email signature templates, Desktop wallpaper, Teams
backgrounds, letterhead and postcards featuring Acrisure's Brand Partners the Pittsburgh Steelers, Coachella
Valley Firebirds and New York Islanders to help employees showcase pride in these partnerships that help
raise brand awareness.
• Completely revised, updated and authored new corporate documents to help contextualize the brand and the
transformation of the organization from an insurance brokerage to a global fintech focused on total client
solutions for use by employees globally.
• Developed and launched organic content strategy and hired an FTE Associate Content Manager to execute
that strategy on Acrisure’s owned social media channels.

Codesmith
• Developed and implemented integrated content strategy to increase access and engagement with
Codesmith’s high quality, free learning content on Codesmith.io, social media, the blog and the learning
platform CSX.
• Recruited and hired 2 FTE Sr. Content Coordinators to support copy, partnerships, video and social media
content creation and management.
• Led creation and implementation of a revised blog content strategy, including an updated design, to better tell
the Codesmith story by highlighting members of the community and their impact.
• Led creation of short form video content strategy and launched a TikTok and YouTube Shorts presence for
Codesmith focused on highlighting educational content and our community.
• Developed and implemented a YouTube content strategy, including reorganizing content by audience learning
level, redesigned video thumbnails and launched monetization of channel, resulting in increased engagement.
• Led the team responsible for launching, promoting and developing all content for self-paced Javascript for
Beginners courses on Udemy and on Codesmith.io.
• Managed new and existing partnership relationships to raise awareness about Codesmith through sponsored
content creation, lead generation campaigns, scholarship campaigns and alumni q&a content that resulted in
increased applications from qualified candidates.

• Rebuilt Digital Content team, recruited and hired three FTE multimedia journalists in a six-month span.
• Launched internal communications working group to improve communications and positively impact retention
of current students during the pandemic.
• Redesigned workflows and partnered with employees to identify professional development to keep them
engaged and on track during the pandemic.
• Redesigned the strategy for managing our student communities in Facebook groups. Brought key partners
from across the university onto the team, remove barriers to success by connecting students directly to
university resources and through strategic communications in the groups.

• Developed and implemented strategic communications plans targeted at internal staff communications, and
student communications to drive stakeholders to Student Affairs websites, social media, events and programs.

more than 300 employees in the division.
• Resolved capacity issues for graphic design team by developing and launching a design library of editable
design templates accompanied by instructional tutorials and in line with Northwestern’s brand standards and
identity.

of twenty students executing 400+ creative project requests ranging from design work for print to video
production to social media management.

strategist. Led and managed six part-time photographers and video editors.
• Acted as liaison to the Chief Diversity Officer ensuring the Office of Academic Diversity, Equity and Inclusion
met communications goals for internal and external audiences on the web, in print and at events.
• Led university's social media strategy for all official social media accounts providing counsel and direction to
crisis response team, developed timely responses on social media in conjunction with departments impacted
by the crisis.
• Managed all phases of photo and multimedia production from concept to delivery. Completely redesigned
editorial workflows to manage photo and video requests ensuring the final product represented NIU’s brand
characteristics to internal and external audiences, effectively conveyed the message, met timelines, and
reflected best practices.
