aesthetics, incorporate energy-saving technologies, and provide cutting-edge amenities
tailored to cater to diverse business needs.

A. Design Economics Considerations:

1. Material Selection – impact of the selection of durable and high-efficiency materials can
impact functionality, aesthetic, maintenance on a long-term period
2. Energy Efficiency – impact of incorporating sustainable elements
3. Space Utilization – impact of maximizing space through efficient floor plans and flexible
designs

B. Cost Planning Strategies:

1. Detailed Cost Estimation – impact of conducting a comprehensive cost estimation process
in consideration of material, labour and plant expenses
2. Value Engineering – impact of collaborating with various stakeholders in identifying potential
optimization opportunities
3. Life Cycle Cost Analysis – impact of evaluating long-term costs associated with building
