The theme of my group is social media, and my individual topic is the use of social media in education.

I'm drawn to this topic because of the growing importance of social media in education and its potential
impact on students. Exploring how students are influenced by social media's role in education fascinates
me.

Researching this topic will not only deepen my understanding but also enhance my vocabulary as I
encounter new terminology. It will also refine my punctuation and sentence structure, thereby
improving my ability to express my ideas when writing.

To gather information, I plan to utilize a variety of resources including a video, an online article, and a
pictorial presentation specifically related to my topic.

How the material that I have selected shaped my thinking on my topic.

The online article provided valuable insights into the shift from offline to online communication,
emphasizing how the latter has become obsolete . It highlighted the convenience of online learning,
allowing both students and adults to access education from the comfort of their homes.

The second piece, a picture I found online, illustrates students utilizing social media for research-based
assignments within a school setting.

Lastly, the video I chose offers a comprehensive overview of various social media platforms and their
potential for educational use. It discusses the creation of private groups by students and teachers to
facilitate learning and staying updated on relevant topics.
