Definition of Civilizations Dialogue

• The peoples of the world share their

opinions and problems and determine
the solutions to these problems so that
they have the ability to become
acquainted, communicate, eliminate the
conflicts and positively interact in a
civilized manner among the peoples

Civilizations
1. Stopping the deterioration in the relations
between the different societies
2. Stopping the severe collapse of human
rights practices and violations against
humanity.
3. Reducing the gaps among the different
civilizations that is resulted from the cultural

• Qatar Committee for Alliance of
Civilizations was established in 2010.
• It aims to reinforce the role of the State of
Qatar in highlighting the contribution of
Islamic civilization.
• It emphasizes the values of tolerance,
solidarity and peace and sharing the
experiences and benefits among people
based on the values of truth, justice and
equality.
 Tasks of the National Committee for
the Alliance of Civilizations:
• Qatar Committee for Alliance of Civilizations
performs a number of tasks, including:
• 1. Following-up the state's contributions to the
alliance of civilizations.
• 2. Suggesting subjects for the studies related
to the issues of the alliance of civilizations
• 3. Supervising the organization of the
meetings and forums of the alliance of
civilizations.

intellectual and cultural abilities.
