Weight throw:
o Explain any specific warm up of weight.

 Warm up arms (moving them around in circles, and maybe ap and down) and
legs, specially the calf muscle and quadriceps (doing skipping and some sit-ups)

o Technique.

You place blackguards, with the ball resting between your shoulder and your
chin, but holding it with your hand. You start hoping and turning with the leg of
the same side of the hand that is holding the ball, and then you change your leg
with a final step that locates you looking to the field and, with the impulse that
you have earned from the turning, you throw the ball, procuring it goes up and
forward.

o Man record and woman.

The current men's world record is 23.12 m, achieved by American Randy


Barnes, in 1996. In the women's category the record belongs to Natalya Lisovskaya
with a mark of 22.63 m in 1987.

o Regulation
 The throwing circle must be 2,135m in diameter
 The surface must be flat – the weight is thrown with a single arm
 In case of tie wins the one with the second-best throwing
 The surface must be scrapy so that the participants do not slide.
 The launch pit must be marked with white lines
 The drop area must be marked with two white lines with a width of
40o and an extension of 25 m
 It is null when: The ball falls out of the area or touches one of the
lines, the thrower touches the ground outside the circle with some
part of the body. The thrower exits the circle before the ball touches
the ground.

Hurdling race:
o Explain any specific warm up of hurdling race.

An only hoping “pilla-pilla”, to warm up the calf muscle, “isquios” and


quadriceps

o Hurdling technique.
The running must be with long, equal steps, and the jumping must be
horizontal and regulating the hight to the vall. You must jump far from the vall.
The leg you don´t jump with has to be extended kind of like kicking, and the other
one must pass behind, a little to the side and flexioned. You must land with the leg
you don´t jump with and keep running.

o Phases of hurdle race.

First the start, then the running, after several jumps with running between
them and the finish line.

o Hurdling high (men and women).

In the 110-meter event for men, the hurdles measure 1.067 meters high, In the
women's 100, the hurdles measure 0.84 meters high.

In the 400 men’s race the hurdles are .914 meters high, and in women the
hurdles are .762 meters high.

o Regulation.

All hurdle events include eight runners in the final. Depending on the number
of entries, each event includes two or three preliminary rounds before the final. In
2004, the 110-meter event included one round of preliminary heats followed by
quarterfinal and semi-final rounds prior to the final. The 100 and 400 both
included a round of preliminary heats followed by a semi-final and then the final.

Runners in all hurdle events begin in starting blocks.

The 100- and 110-meter races are run on straightaways. Runners must remain
in their lanes during all hurdle races. As in all races, the event ends when a
runner’s torso (not the head, arm, or leg) crosses the finish line. Runners are not
disqualified for knocking a hurdle over, unless it is done intentionally. Hurdlers can
be disqualified for failing to jump a hurdle or trailing a foot or leg below the
horizontal plane of the top of any hurdle while clearing the hurdle.
